Review of Veer by Alyssa Rose Ivy

Description:

Book 2 in Clayton Falls Series

Only when you let go can you learn to live.

Between the death of her mother and pushing through law school without her best friend, it's been a tough year for Becca. Needing a break from Boston, she moves to a tiny coastal North Carolina town for a relaxing summer. After bumping heads repeatedly with a local cop, she realizes her summer will be anything but quiet.

Three years after a career ending injury ruins his chance to play Major League Baseball, Gavin has a distrust of northerners and lately girls in general. He wants nothing to do with a girl who is only in town for the summer.

When the two give in to their impossible attraction, they realize that they may just have found the key to freeing themselves from the ghosts of their pasts.

Review:

Alyssa Rose Ivy has done it again.  She has definitely become my favorite author after reading several awesome books she has written.  Veer rocked!

I really loved the characters.  She included the characters from book one yet wrapped the new Becca into the fold.  We get more of sexy Gavin and Becca was Molly's best friend from law school come to visit for the summer.  The author dissects the characters in a way that makes them flawed yet human.

It was easy to get wrapped up in the pages of this book.  Once I started it, I couldn't put it down.  I had to know what happened from page one. The writing was spectacular as is with all her writing.

I really don't want to spoil such an awesome read, so I won't say to much more about Veer.  This book deserves five glittery stars because it's beyond fantastic:)

Book 1 in Clayton Falls Series

When you're lost, sometimes the only place you can go is home.

Broken over the death of her fiancé, Molly leaves law school to return to her childhood home in North Carolina. Expecting to lay low until she can figure out what else to do with her life, she finds herself in the arms of her high school sweetheart, the boy who represents everything from the past she tried to leave behind.

Looking for an escape, she instead finds a way back to the girl she almost forgot existed and a future she never dreamed possible.

Review:

Wow..*sniffles* just wow. This was one of the most epic love stories I have ever read. Yes it was a little predictable, but the author weaved a fair amount of mystery throughout to keep you completely engaged.

I just can't say enough how much I loved this story. Alyssa Rose Ivy has done it again. She is quickly becoming a favorite:)

*Be Warned* This book is emotional and tissues are required. I was so engrossed in the story, I couldn't help but feel Molly's pain and joy. Molly was a very unique character and I liked that.

This is a story about love and loss and finding your way in life. This book would fall under the category of adult/ new adult. I don't want to give away any of the awesomeness, so my review will be short.

Take the time to pick up this book or one of Alyssa's other books A.S.A.P. You will love her as much as I do! I give this book at least five glittery starts for a story with real heart!!!
