Waiting on Wednesday #26 - Black Crow

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill of Breaking the Spine which spotlights highly anticipated upcoming releases.
This week I’m waiting on:
Book: Black Crow

Author:  J.L. Weil

Release Date: 2016

I’VE LOST SO MUCH.
FAMILY. MY HOME.
PRIDE. MY IDENTITY.
And I couldn’t help but feel it’s entirely my fault. There is no one else to blame.
I’ve quickly learned that being the White Raven isn’t easy. The dead are restless and angry, and I don’t know the first thing about being a banshee. Those around me will get hurt. To keep them safe, I must endure painful decisions.
Zane Hunter, the ultra-bad boy who stole my heart, is one of those difficult decisions. Our souls are synchronized, making us a compatible duo. Too bad I’m engaged to his brother.
My forbidden relationship with Zane is complicated. Deep down I want more than what my duty demands of me, what my family’s past has shaped for me.
Our problematic relationship only increases in tenfold when a surprise I never saw coming shows up in Raven Hallow, changing the game. I thought I had nothing left to lose…I was wrong.
Yeah, being a banshee isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be.
I loved the first book in the series, and I also love this author! What book are you waiting for this week?

Review of A Very Grey Christmas by T.A. Foster

I was getting ready to spend the single most important holiday of the year alone. Completely and utterly alone.
That meant he wouldn’t be there Christmas Eve. No making Christmas cookies, or listening to my dad sing off-key while my mom bustled around wrapping last-minute gifts. No decorating the tree. No midnight Christmas kiss.
No waking up in Grey’s arms. We were actually going to spend our very first Christmas in different states.
That was until Grey gave me the most unexpected gift of my life.

Review:
When I got this book, I thought it sounded like a cute holiday romance. It didn't disappoint! It was absolutely adorable!
Grey made me want to swoon with all those darlin's and sexy kisses! Oh and the sex! Steamy and hot, hot, hot!
While this was just a short novella, it was really great. It deserves five stars for telling a story about love, both family and romance. Traditions are alive and well in this holiday read!

Other books in the series:
 About the Author:
T.A. Foster is a Southern girl whose heart and spirit are connected to the beach. She grew up catching rays and chasing waves along the North Carolina Outer Banks and now resides in the state with her adventurous pilot husband, three children and canine kiddos.
Her long love affair with books started at an early age, and as soon as she was able, she transformed imaginative stories into words on paper.
T.A. has an undergraduate degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a graduate degree in Educational Psychology from Texas A&M University. When she’s not chasing her two-legged and four-legged children or trying to escape for date night, you can find her reading, writing or planning her next beach trip.

Stacking the Shelves #170-ARC of The Hunt!!!!

Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted by Tynga at Tynga's Reviews, that features books I've received/purchased/borrowed during the current week.
SUCH A GOOD WEEK! We had family Christmas one week early and I got a great stash of Amazon gift cards!

ARC's: Amazing! A Very Grey Christmas was really cute. I can't wait to read the upcoming book from the awesome Mary Kubica! AND THE HUNT!!!!!! The Cage was one of my favorite reads, so I was soooo stoked to nab the sequel, The Hunt. Just finished it and it rocked as well. Something tragic happens though, and I was a bit sad. Dying to get my hands on the final book in the trilogy!

It was a great week for purchases too! I can't wait to read Melt with You, The Asgardians, From Russia with Fangs, Torment, Storm, The Lightning Legacy, and so many more I picked up out of my wish list!

Patricia Brigg's Iron Kissed was also fantastic. I'm waiting for the library copy of the next book in the series to become available.
