Book Quotes #1
1. “I guess that's what saying good-bye is always like--like jumping off an edge. The worst part is making the choice to do it. Once you're in the air, there's nothing you can do but let go.”
― Lauren Oliver, Before I Fall
2. “This college would probably have the same problem as the last one did."
I frowned, "What's that?"
"Homework.”
― Richelle Mead, Spirit Bound
3. “A quick thought shot through my mind. Could I really drown in a dream? I remembered the movie the Matrix. If you died in the matrix, you died in real life. I wasn’t about to take a chance...”
― Cameo Renae, In My Dreams
4. “Ultimately, the universe doesn't care about us. Time doesn't care about us. That's why we have to care about each other.”
― David Levithan, Every Day
5. “The afternoon light brightening the green in her eyes, her tan skin the last memory of fall”
― John Green, Looking for Alaska
6. “There's only one of him, she thought, and he's right here.
He knows I'll like a song before I've heard it. He laughs before I even get to the punch line. There's a place on his chest, just below his throat, that makes me want to let him open doors for me.
There's only one of him.”
― Rainbow Rowell, Eleanor & Park
7. “I’ve decided she’s worthy of something more special, something worthy of my powers.”
― Kelsey Ketch, Daughter of Isis
8. “I'm sorry," I heard him say again. Then, out of the corner of my eye, I saw a sudden blur of movement as he slid out of his seat, left some bills for the breakfast he wouldn't eat, and walked away. And as he did, I thought again of those mornings in the hallway at school, way back in ninth grade. Everything had started in such sharp detail, each aspect pronounced and clear. Obviously, endings were different. Harder to see, full of shapes that could be one thing or another, with all the things that you were once so sure of suddenly not familiar, if they were even recognizable at all.”
― Sarah Dessen, The Moon and More
9. “When they’re together, the world could fall apart around them and they’d never notice or care as long as they have each other.
About Alex and Brittany.”
― Simone Elkeles, Rules of Attraction
10. “I had shaved my beard for her-a huge disappointment, because I’d enjoyed my three weeks looking like a bank robber.”
― Jennifer Echols, Endless Summer

Oh, these are beautiful Andrea! I especially love the John Green one. I'm a big fan of purple prose in books, as long as it isn't overdone and based on those quotes alone, I'm going to have to check all these out now. Thanks so much for sharing, they're just lovely <3
