Review:
I really love shifter books. I admired the main character, Addison, for her determination and compassion for her loved ones.This story takes place in the rainforests of South America. It revolves around a ruin of an Incan city. I didn't expect this story to move countries like it did. I really thought the plot took place in a modern setting.
I liked how Addison and Griffin evolve. They had chemistry that lit like a match. To me, her ex that still wanted a relationship with her wasn't that necessary except as an errand boy. He didn't add much to the story.
The shifters weren't as I expected either. They were primitive. Why did they wear capes? It just felt a little weird to me. The loin cloths? what happened to good old pants?
In all, I did enjoy this installment of The Jagged Lover's Series. It gets four glittery stars for its story of strength and survival. I'm looking forward to what happens next after getting a glimpse at the next problem just around the bend.
